The university contact fair "Career" offers exhibiting companies the chance to present their job entry and career opportunities as an employer to well-trained young talents and to get directly in touch with them.
Target group: Students and graduates
At the University of Applied Sciences Worms, you can meet about 3,500 students from the various degree programmes of our three departments:
- Computer Science
- Economics
- Tourism/Travel Management
The close integration of academically oriented teaching and professional work experience is an essential part of the entire range of studies. Stays abroad and practical semesters within companies are included into many degree programmes. In addition, some degree programmes are oriented industry-specific.
Students benefit from the numerous partnerships with companies and universities abroad. Additionally, an excellent rate of lecturer/students and the equipment with state-of-the-art technology offer an ideal study environment.
The career fair is therefor the chance for companies to find junior staff who are prepared to take on specialist and management tasks.

Target group: Pupils
The system of dual studys has a 20-years tradition at the University of Applied Sciences Worms. The combination of scientifically oriented university studies and practical application in a company makes the study contents more tangible and experiencable. Thus, a large number of the degree programmes are also offered as dual studies.
For this reason, we also invite puplis from the corresponding school classes to visit the career fair. Thanks to the successful cooperation between the University of Applied Sciences Worms and numerous schools of all types in the region, we have good contacts with the corresponding target group. For companies, this also offers the opportunity to present themselves to this target group as a potential partner for dual study positions.
