The physical exercises, the asanas, are traditionally designed to prepare the mind for conscious focus. Their positive side effect: improved posture, relief from neck, shoulder and back pain, increased flexibility, support for the cardiovascular system and prevention of stress.

In addition, yoga places great emphasis on ethical principles such as non-violence, humility, contentment, self-discipline and compassion. These values contribute to a harmonious and balanced life.
