- Big Nudging: Choice Architecture Techniques & Big Data
Harnessing human psychology to manipulate human behavior by changing the context in which people make their choices ("nudging") has been practiced by humans for ages, is used today in particular in marketing and, increasingly, in policy making. The increasing use of big data on individuals for better nudging these individuals is about to create a threat to human autonomy (and, maybe, democracy). - The ICvid Project. Learning by Filming
The project facilitates the learning of intercultural competence by having students develop and shoot short professional intercultural training video themselves. A professional filmmaker coaches the students to help them learn key techniques of shooting and cutting videos - Trust Relations in Intercultural Management (TRIM)
When collaborating with colleagues or partners from other cultures, our well-proven capacity to develop trusting relationships needs to be put to the test. The TRIM Research Project investigates how cultural difference can trap managers into falsely mistrusting colleagues or partners.
