Students at the Tourism/Travel Management department can study abroad at one of the department’s own partner universities, or at a partner university of the Hochschule Worms International Center .
Regular information events on the topic of studying abroad are held by the Tourism/Travel Management department, as well as by the Hochschule Worms International Center. Students can also request advice on a one-on-one basis if required.
The Tourism/Travel Management Department Foreign Office is responsible for overseeing students’ semesters abroad. The contact person is Mrs Orth-Reich.
Learning agreements for outgoing students are signed by both the Tourism/Travel Management department coordinator, Prof. Knut Scherhag, as well as the relevant individuals responsible at the host university.
Whilst studying abroad, students will attend their selected courses and complete the work required. If students decide that they want to change a course whilst at the host university, this must be discussed with the department coordinator (Mrs Pia Orth-Reich). Any changes must be documented in the learning agreement. Please make sure to respect any deadlines.
