Original clubs

The Hochschule Worms has been working together with alumni for many years. The alumni club "Alumni EBM/Handel e.V." was founded by former students of the degree course which is now entitled International Management/Trade Management as early as 2000. This was followed by the establishment of the "Alumni Club Touristik e.V." for the department of tourism/transportation in 2002.

Joining forces

The clubs subsequently sought to make alumni activities more centralised and to offer all former Hochschule Worms students a joint package with invites to the same events. As such, in 2015, the two alumni clubs joined forces to become what is now known as "Alumni-Club Worms e.V."

Working together

The student-managed club "Alumni-IBA (VFA) e.V." decided not to merge with the other two clubs due to its particular organisational structure. However, the club did become an institutional member of the ACW in 2017. In doing so, this meant that the clubs could devise and promote events and offers together.

Everything under one roof

The objective of grouping the alumni management under one roof is also beneficial from an organisational point of view. Those working for the alumni clubs come from different departments, yet they have formed a close partnership, meaning that the range of graduate offers and benefits can continue to expand.
